Crayon’s SPLA Health Check Assessment: What’s Included?

Point-in-time Licensing Assessment: The Assessment aims to give you a point-in-time view of your licensing status and identifies gaps between usage and entitlements.

ELP Report: The outcome of the assessment is 1x Effective Licensing Position (ELP) Report to which calls out areas of improvement if any and ensure compliance with Microsoft agreements.

Terms and Conditions:

rhipe SPLA Partners can leverage a SPLA Health Check Assessment (“Promotion”) subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. The Promotion commences on 1st January 2025 and is valid until 20th June 2025, or until all available funds for this offer have been allocated (“Promotion Period”).

2. To qualify for the Promotion, Partners must be an existing rhipe Microsoft Services Provider License Agreement (“SPLA”) partner transacting SPLA in Australia & New Zealand (“Eligible Partners”).

3. Eligible Partners must complete a SPLA Health Check Assessment Signup Form before 20th June 2025.

4. Promotion inclusions:

4.1 The SPLA Health Check Assessment is provided using the Octopus Cloud View tool. https://www.octopus.cloud/
4.2 The standard cost of the SPLA Health Check Assessment is AUD 20 per Asset. (An asset is any physical server and/or Windows Server Virtual Machines running on the physical host. E.g. Total asset count of 1 physical host supporting 30 Windows Server VMs and 5 Linux VMs is 31.)
4.3 The outcome of the Promotion is ONE (1) Effective Licensing Position (“ELP”) report.
4.4 The ELP report refers to the current “effective” status of your license consumption versus entitlement for your current Microsoft Services Provider License Agreement (SPLA) contract.
4.5 The Promotion concludes upon the delivery of the ELP report. Any usage of the Octopus Cloud tool beyond the Promotion Period will incur monthly subscription charges. Please refer to PRISM portal for more details on monthly fees.
4.6 The Early Bird Offer is limited to the first 10 signups on the form https://golive.apac.crayon.com/Home-of-SPLA.html approved by Crayon, who will receive discounted assessments at half price.

5. The monetary value of the Promotion may be discounted and is at the absolute discretion of rhipe.

6. This Promotion cannot be combined with any other offer.

7. All monetary values are in Australian Dollar (AUD).

8. rhipe reserves the right to suspend, cancel, change, vary, update or modify the Promotion or terms of the Promotion at any time.

9. Partner acknowledges and agrees that in participating in this promotion, it and its end users may be subject to any third-party vendor supplier terms and conditions that must be complied with.

10. Each Partner must comply with terms and conditions.

11. Partners must not: 

11.1 engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion;
11.2 do anything to diminish the reputation of rhipe or its Affiliates;
11.3 breach any laws; or
11.4 behave in any way that is otherwise unprofessional or inappropriate.

12. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, rhipe or any of its  respective officers, employees and agents (“Affiliates”) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity or loss of profits); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the rhipe’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any variation in value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; or (e) any tax liability incurred by a Partner.

13. rhipe may collect your personal information including but not limited to full name, email, address, in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such personal information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required or applicable, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing the personal information requested. rhipe will use and handle personal information as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be accessed at https://www.crayon.com/about-us/trust-center/.

14. rhipe may, at any time, request from Partner, any proof or evidence of performance or compliance with these terms and conditions. If this Promotion cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the rhipe’s control, due directly or indirectly,  software, hardware or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud or technical failure, act of God, wars, strikes, lockouts, industrial action, floods, fires, accident, earthquake, riot, explosion, terrorism, acts of government, military, civil or regulatory authority, delays or defaults of manufacturers or suppliers, change in any law or regulation, disruption or interruption to the supply of communications, internet, power or other utility or any other cause beyond our reasonable control, rhipe may end, change, suspend or cancel the Promotion.
